it's day 1 of prayer and fasting week, 10am and so far so good, I was asking myself... more like a convince-me-more" ask (after just skipping breakfast!!!) "why am I doing this again?" and right on the money was the manual that I have, it said there that we fast not to earn God's approval but to respond to it. I don't think that the type of fast or how many meals we skip earns us anything or any right because what we have is so much better and it's called privilege.
Ok, I'm convinced. So that is my prayer today that I will not lose sight of the big picture that I cannot add anymore to what Jesus did for me on the cross and that I will respond the right way and be a living sacrifice for God. Cheers!! Enjoy your fast!
